A PORTUGUESE football team that include members of FC Porto’s notorious Ultras Group are on a winning streak – because nobody wants to play them.
Canelas 2010, from the fourth division, are currently top of the table after winning all but one of their matches because their opponents prefer to forfeit the match and pay the £650 fine.
That is because Canelas 2010 are renowned for giving their opponents the rough treatment – by kicking, threatening and elbowing.
Four members of the team are part of Porto’s “Super Dragons” Ultras group who have more interest in causing a scrap than playing tika-taka football.
If the side are allowed to continue and win the league, they will be promoted to the third division where they would be eligible to play in the Portuguese Cup – and the chance to play Porto.
