Amiens’ promising young striker, George Ilenikhena, is set to join Antwerp, as reported by Journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The 16-year-old Nigerian forward, who featured in 16 games and scored two goals in Ligue 2, will make the move to Antwerp.
In addition to his performances for the first team, he impressed while playing for Amiens’ second team, making 10 appearances and netting six goals.

Antwerp has been in search of a striker to provide backup for their top scorer, Vincent Janssen. Last season, Ilenikhena’s team finished in 12th place in Ligue 2.
Antwerp has been active in the transfer market, particularly focusing on signing young players with potential. They recently secured the services of goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Club Brugge on a four-year contract. Additionally, in April, they announced the signing of 20-year-old Swedish attacker Jacob Ondrejka from Elfsborg.
There are also rumors of a potential departure from Antwerp, with Burnley showing interest in Jean Butez after missing out on Bart Verbruggen, who joined Brighton.
