Benzema, Lewandowski swap rumoured

Robert Lewandowski has been a top target for Real Madrid this summer if some outlets are to be believed and it is being reported that Los Blancos were so willing to sign the Pole, they were willing to let Karim Benzema go.

Having changed his agent, the Bayern Munich man’s future is said to be in the air with Chelsea another club supposedly lurking for his signature.

Kicker report that Benzema was part of the deal Madrid proposed to Die Roten after hearing that Lewandowski wants to sign for the LaLiga team.

However Bayern president Uli Hoeness will not let the striker leave Bavaria no matter what the offer is, declaring that he is to remain next season and honour his contract, which runs to 2021.
