Birthday Baptism? Super Falcons celebrate Njoku Ugo

The Nigerian women senior team took a break after their emphatic win over Kenya to celebrate the River Angels defender who clocked 22 years

Super Falcons players wished defender Njoku Ugo a happy 22nd birthday by baptising her with water , a normal birthday ritual among Nigerian youths.

The former U20 women player who has established herself as an important player in the national team since making her debut in 2014, was bathed by her teammates in front of the team’s hotel as celebration for her birthday.

The likes of Desire Oparanozie, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Halimat Ayinde were all involved in the water basptism of the defender on Sunday morning.
