Former Nigeria captain, Nwankwo Kanu, has applauded the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to have sealed a grade ‘A’ international friendly for the Super Eagles against Brazil next month.
The friendly is billed to take place on October 13 in Singapore.
The former Ajax and Arsenal star, Kanu, told AOIFootball.com in an interview that the NFF has done pretty well to have organised a friendly against one of the world’s top footballing nations.

He also commended the Super Eagles performance in their last friendly match against Ukraine which ended 2-2 at the Dnipro Arena, Ukraine.
“The last friendly [against Ukraine] was fantastic. The team looked new to me and I must commend their performance. And that of Brazil slated for October is also a good top friendly and it is good to try other players,” the man who captained Nigeria’s Dream Team I to win the gold at Atlanta ’96 Olympics said.
