Liverpool have had a fee accepted for Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain.
According to ‘Sky Sports’, Liverpool have had a bid in the region of £35m accepted by Arsenal for the midfielder.
After the England international rejected a £180,000-a-week deal contract extension with Arsenal, he then turned down a move to Chelsea after a fee had been agreed between the two clubs.
It is understood that Arsenal would have preferred to sell to Chelsea, but the 24-year-old favoured the move to Anfield as he believes he will have more of an opportunity to play in his preferred position, central midfield, and the deal has now been agreed.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently training with the England squad ahead of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers so the medical will take place at St. George’s Park.
