Buffon offered PSG captaincy?

More details are emerging about Paris Saint-Germain’s offer to Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, with reports they’ve offered him the captaincy.

The 40-year-old will leave the Bianconeri at the end of this season, but has yet to decide whether he wants to retire.

Le Parisien reported yesterday that PSG had offered him a two-year contract, with Sky Italia later confirming that the Ligue 1 champions want to bring the Italian to the Parc des Princes.

Now Premium Sport purports to have details of the offer, with the French club said to be offering €8m per season.

PSG have also offered him the captain’s armband, which is currently worn by former Milan defender Thiago Silva.
