HULL City right back, Ola Aina, has advised that the Super Eagles should go full throttle against the Lions of Cameroon today.
Aina, in line for Nigeria’s full debut, recognised the strength of the Cameroonian team when he said: “If you go by the books, they are better than us because they are the African champions. I saw a couple of their games at Afcon and the FIFA Confederations Cup, but we can help our own cause by winning here which I am sure we can do.’’
“They will come with that pride but we need to go hard on them before they come hard on us.’’
He added that today’s game means so much to him personally.
“I have a story to tell and that is to see Nigeria win this game first time I am with them, this is a fantastic group and it is a pleasure being with them’’
Aina has played for England at the youth level in the U-16 and U-20 categories but was convinced to play for Nigeria at the senior level.
“With all my heart, I am here to do my best, I am a Nigerian through and through.
