Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Month for August.
Rodgers has made an impressive start as Hoops manager by guiding his team to the top of the table despite playing a game less than the chasing pack.
Celtic started the league campaign with a 2-1 victory over oldest league rivals Hearts at Tynecastle.
Celtic defeated St Johnstone 4-2 at McDiarmid Park, following a break to play in the International Champions Cup.
And the Scottish champions completed the run of matches against the three teams who finished behind them last season, with a 4-1 victory over Aberdeen.
All three victories were achieved on the back of Champions League qualifying games against Astana and both legs of the tie with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
Celtic have been in free-scoring form throughout the campaign and have scored 10 league goals while conceding just four, Sky Sports reported.
