Flying Eagles and Water FC of Abuja goalkeeper, Nathaniel Nwosu, has expressed happiness over his invitation to the senior national team, the Super Eagles by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Nwosu, who emerged the Best Goalkeeper at the 2022 West African Football Union (WAFU) B U20, however promised to make the good use of the opportunity given to him by the NFF and thanked Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso for believing in him and Coach Salisu Yusuf for the invitation to represent Nigeria at the top level.
“I am very happy to earn my first invitation to Super Eagles at this early stage in my career. I want to thank the NFF for the consideration, Coach Salisu Yusuf for the opportunity given to me and Coach Ladan Bosso for his fatherly advice that spurred me on in the WAFU B U20 competition. I won’t take the opportunity for granted and want to use it to make Nigerians proud.

Head Coach of Super Eagles B, Salisu Yusuf, invited Nwosu and 34 other players for the double-header clash against Galaxies of Ghana in the 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
The Super Eagles will square up with Ghana in the first leg in Accra on Sunday, 28th August while the second leg is scheduled for Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Saturday, September 3.
The winner will feature at the 7th African Nations Championship to be hosted in Algeria next year.
