English news outlet ‘Sky Sports News’ reports that Antonio Conte’s side have agreed a fee with Arsenal that will see the 24-year-old make to move across London to Stamford Bridge.
The winger is currently with the England squad at their St George’s Park training base but it is thought that the vast majority of the player’s medical could be done there.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is into the final year of his contract at the Emirates and has been the subject of serious interest from Chelsea all summer as Antonio Conte looks to build a squad capable to retaining the Premier League title.
The Ox has started all four of Arsenal’s competitive games so far this season but he is thought to be open to a move as he looks to force his way into England’s World Cup squad.
The 24-year-old made 45 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side last season but only managed 16 Premier League starts, several of which came out of position at right wing-back.
