Some Chelsea fans seem to have lost patience with manager Graham Potter following a run of unimpressive performances despite being the heaviest spenders in the league.
Chelsea began the season with former Champions League-winning manager Thomas Tuchel in charge, but a string of unwanted results after heavy financial investment led to his sack and the appointment of Potter from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Unfortunately, Potter’s appointment has failed to stem the tide of bad results as Chelsea have been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions while occupying a shocking 9th position in the league.
In a bid to boost performances, Chelsea ownership, led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital pumped in more finances to recruit players in the January transfer window, leading to the signing of 8 players and breaking the Premier League record for most expensive signing.
Coming off the heels of the close of the transfer window, Chelsea fans expected a better performance against Fulham in the Premier League, but were treated to a dull 0-0 game in which fans couldn’t take it any longer.

Here are some reactions from some disgruntled Chelsea fans
@planetfaz In my humble opinion, Graham Potter does not have the experience of managing such a massive organisation with such an expensive squad. This is deep waters & big waves, you need experience…
@Letter_to_Jack Graham Potter and Emefiele are hideous twins.
@sujodanystique I feel for Graham Potter tbh. Man has no fucking excuse. It’ll be a shame if he doesn’t do a madness with all these transfers
It is clear as day that Brighton made Graham Potter, Potter did not make Brighton.

@Sports_Doctor2 I just wasted one hour of my life willingly allowing Graham Potter to torture me, I’m not an APC supporter, I don’t like suffering

@OlisaOsega Chelsea fans calling for the sack of Graham Potter are just being reactionary. Potter needs a striker, another midfielder, another goalkeeper, another winger, another full-back, and another CB. He needs Boehly to spend another £800M to get the team going. He needs more time too.
@UgwunnaEjikem Graham Potter should actually be a POS operator in Ajangbadi instead of Chelsea’s manager but Todd Boehly has simply refused to hear word smh
With Graham Potter in charge of this team, Chelsea is a Ferrari Car with a Kia engine.
