Chelsea remain firm in their bid to hold on to Eden Hazard and fend off interest from Real Madrid.
The Blues recently refused an offer from Real Madrid as Los Blancos made a proposal to offer Alvaro Morata in part of the deal.
Hazard has been a top target for Zinedine Zidane for the summer transfer window, but Chelsea are unwilling to let their player leave and if he must leave Los Blancos will have to pay big to convince the west London club into selling their star asset.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Madrid are attempting to reach an agreement involving striker Alvaro Morata, but a switch to Chelsea is still possible.
It is claimed the Blues will not allow Hazard leave for anything less than at least £70million.
Perez wants to recoup the £26m Madrid paid Juventus for Morata, meaning that value would be thrown into a deal for Hazard.
Chelsea’s response has been clear in that they believe it is not worth doing a deal by losing Hazard for effectively £44m.
The Blues know they have the upper hand in negotiations and will not give in easily, even if Antonio Conte can’t land Morata.
