have unveiled their new home kit for the 2018-19 season… and fans really aren’t happy, comparing it to bus seats.
The Blues’ latest strip from Nike features thin red and white stripes splashed across it, with supporters likening it to airline staff.
Chelsea revealed the news on their Twitter account on Friday morning, with Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses sporting the new strip.
Complete with a link to the club shop, the Blues captioned the post: “The stage is lit. Introducing our 2018/19Â at nikefootball home kit!”
The interesting new jersey will set fans back £64.95 for a “Stadium Home” version – or a jaw-dropping £89.95 for a “Vapor Match” edition.
The more expensive option is said to be the “authentic” option, made with Nike VaporKnit technology and is “the same shirt worn by the pros”.
However, Chelsea fans really don’t seem keen on the latest jersey, taking to social media in droves to share their thoughts…
