Cristiano Ronaldo has taken posing to a new level by laying on grass with his head nestled in flowers

Ronaldo is never shy with his posing on social media, but this could be his best yet – and it’s whipped up a frenzy online

HE is never shy at coming forward.

And now Ronaldo has taken posing to a whole new level – and not been afraid to show it off on social media.

A photo he shared on Instagram shows the Real Madrid and Portugal star lying on grass, with his head bent in to a row of flowers.

The photo has had 198,000 likes, but it is the 7,238 comments that are the most interesting.

While one describes him as “sleeping handsome” and another as a “king”, there are plenty who are left confused by the strange stance.

One person writes “WTF”, while another tells the 31-year-old to “pull himself together”.

Another writes “what the hell”, with another saying “dislike” and giving the thumbs down.

He is also showing off his own-brand CR7 briefs.

It’s the latest in a long line of self-appreciating photos the two-time Ballon d’Or winner has shared on social media.

Ranging from him modelling new items from his expensive wardrobe, to lying on a bed in a dressing gown adorned with CR7 blankets, Ronaldo is savvy at making sure all eyes are on him.
