‘Cristiano’s relationship with Real Madrid is tense’

Luis Campos, Portuguese sporting director of Lille, spoke to the striker, and he confirmed that his relationship with the Spanish club is going through a rocky patch.

‘His situation with Real Madrid at this moment is a little tense, it is normal. But Cristiano will have enough time to make the right decision, of that I am sure’, he told ‘TF1’.

Campos coincided with Ronaldo at Real Madrid when he was part of Mourinho’s staff, operating as a scout. ‘I spoke to him. Ronaldo is a person who focuses a lot on his job. Nobody believes he made his own tax declaration’, Campos explained.

‘At first he was hurt and now he is at a stage of hurt with everything that is happening. He loves to give a good impression and at this moment it is complicated’, he added.

Lille’s sporting director also said that Cristiano needs a few days to think: ‘At this moment I think he needs a few days to reflect. He told me himself that he needed some days to think, it is normal’, he admitted, when asked about PSG’s interest
