Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry pulled off an amazing performance against the Dallas Mavericks.
Curry ended the game with 37 points leading the scoring, shooting 51.9% from the field and added 9 assists. Warriors started the game strong with a 9-0 run taking a 14-9 lead over Mavericks with Draymond Green’s two rebounds, block and assist charging up the game for them.
Warriors led Mavericks at the end of the 1st Quarter, Curry and Dončić getting 12 points each. Curry had a 62.5% shooting from the field and tying his career-high record for two blocks in the 1st Quarter. Dallas Mavericks came in strong in the 2nd Quarter, taking a 1 point lead while forcing two turnovers from Warriors, Luka Dončić went on a 6 points run and an assist.
The Mavericks led the Warriors 63-59 at halftime at the Chase Center. Luka Dončić putting up a solid performance leading the mavericks with 22 points and 3 assists, while contributing to 30.6% of their points of turnovers. Warriors soon took control of the game, Curry recording 25 points and 9 assists nearing a double-double with 2:25 left in the third quarter. Golden state collected 15 offensive rebounds, Looney securing a career-high 7 offensive rebounds.
The Golden State Warriors held out to a 120-117 lead, closing out the game with a win. Curry led with 37 points, scoring the last 12 points to secure his team’s win. He had a 51.9% from shooting and added 9 assists.
The Warriors had 18 offensive rebounds, Kevin looney grabbing half of them. Luka Dončić scored 31 points for Dallas, Klay Thompson also adding 22 points on his return to the Chase Center. Warriors closed out the game with a 15-5 run late in the fourth quarter.
