The Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Sunday Dare, has inaugurated the board of the Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF which we run for the next four years.
According to the minister, the inaugurated Board is the only one recognised by the ministry and by extension the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The minister has studied the situation around the NBBF and thus approved the Elective Congress of the January 31, 2022 and the outcome of its elections.
“By this development, the Engineer Musa Ahmadu Kida led NBBF board will hereby and henceforth receive the recognition and support of the Federal Government for all its activities. I wish to reiterate that this board is the only recognised one for the administration of basketball in Nigeria.”
