Manchester United star, David de Gea’s future at the club is in doubt after contract talks broke down, according to reports.
The Spain No.1 will see his contract expire at the end of the year, though there is an option to extend it by another year.
De Gea has been the standout performer for the Red Devils in recent seasons, winning four of the last five United Player of the Year awards.
Jose Mourinho had always been confident that the stopper would pen to paper over a new deal but the latest reports have thrown major doubt over his future at the club.

It comes amid an early season crisis, with Mourinho’s job still very much on the line.
The Red Devils halted a streak of four games without a win thanks to Saturday’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Newcastle.
But with problems off the pitch as well as on it, De Gea is ‘reluctant’ to sign a new deal – according to the Telegraph.
And with the former Atletico Madrid star set to turn 28 next month, he wants to spend his peak years battling for top honours.
There is still ample time for United chiefs to convince him that his future lies at Old Trafford.
