World Cup-bound Super Eagles are closely following the progress of teenaged goalkeeper Francis Uzoho in the Spanish la Liga, according to goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu.
On Monday night, Uzoho, who will be 19 by the weekend, played his second game for Deportivo La Coruna at home against Girona.
His club fell 2-1 in front of their own fans, but the former Golden Eaglets shot stopper pulled off at least four big saves.
Eagles trainer Alloy Agu has now revealed they are keeping close tabs on the youngster.
“We are watching, we hope he continues to do well at top level,” the former Eagles goalkeeper and skipper disclosed.
He has already said current form will be the major consideration in picking the goalkeepers for next year’s World Cup in Russia.
