Michael Emenalo spent ten years with Chelsea before finally leaving in November to head to Monaco but his time in France might well be over within his first year there.
The former Blues technical director resigned from his post last season stating that he wanted to spend more time with his family, however took the role as sporting director of the Ligue 1 club just three weeks later.
However, according to Get French Football News , Emenalo could lose his job along with manager Leonardo Jardim after the former champions’ disastrous start to the latest campaign which has seen them slip to third from bottom.

Monaco have won just once in their opening nine league matches and have just picked up six points in total, with Emenalo’s transfer policy being blamed by supporters for the club’s downfall.
There have been strong reports today that Jardim, who was linked with the vacant Chelsea job in the summer, is set to be sacked with the club’s vice President Vadim Vasilyev due to meet owner Dmitry Rybolovlev to discuss their future.

Emenalo was often the subject of fans’ protests during his time at the Blues with certain supporters blaming him for the club’s transfer decisions and the direction that they have gone in over transfer windows.
Former Chelsea academy player Jonathan Panzo made the switch to Monaco in the summer, but the club have lost some big players in the past couple of seasons, including Tiemoue Bakayoko to the Blues.
