Arsenal wrapped up the 2025/2026 season with the Premier League.

For the first time in 22 years, Arsenal won the trophy, and Manchester City’s title race has finally come to an end. 

However, the league is far beyond finished as the battle for the qualifications for Champions League, and relegation continue at the final dance on the 24th of May, 2026, which brings the chapter close to matchday 38.

In this article, Sporting Tribune predicts the scoreline for the matchday 38.

Manchester City vs Aston Villa

City will aim to close the season strongly despite missing out on the title. Villa remain organised, particularly in midfield areas, but City’s depth should prove decisive.

Prediction: Manchester City 2 – 1 Aston Villa

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

With the title secured, Arsenal may rotate parts of the squad but will still look to finish strongly. Palace is more organised at home and could make the game competitive.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1 – 2 Arsenal

Fulham vs Newcastle United

Both sides have shown consistency in phases this season. Fulham are difficult to break down at home, while Newcastle remain dangerous in attacking transitions.

Prediction: Fulham 1 – 1 Newcastle

Liverpool vs Brentford

Liverpool’s attacking intensity at Anfield should give them control. Brentford may remain compact, but sustaining pressure for 90 minutes will be difficult.

Prediction: Liverpool 3 – 1 Brentford

Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth

Forests still require points to stay clear of danger. Bournemouth have been balanced in recent weeks and could frustrate the hosts.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1 – 1 Bournemouth

Sunderland vs Chelsea

Chelsea are still chasing European qualification and must avoid dropping points. Sunderland may compete physically, but could struggle defensively.

Prediction: Sunderland 1 – 2 Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton

Tottenham’s inconsistency has defined much of their campaign. Everton’s direct approach could make this a close contest.

Prediction: Tottenham 1 – 1 Everton

West Ham United vs Leeds United

Both teams remain under pressure near the lower half. Leeds’ intensity and pressing could give them an advantage.

Prediction: West Ham 1 – 2 Leeds United

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Manchester United

United still need points to strengthen their position in the European places. Brighton will keep possession for long spells, but United’s transition play could make the difference.

Prediction: Brighton 1 – 2 Manchester United

Burnley vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

This is one of the key survival fixtures of the final round. Burnley’s home support may provide the edge in a tense contest.

Prediction: Burnley 2 – 1 Wolves
