The former stopper, who won six full caps for Germany, hit a big running splash to pick up the win in Munich
FORMER Germany goalkeeper Tim Wiese made his WWE debut last night at a live event in Munich.
The muscle-bound ex-keeper, who is going by the nickname ‘The Machine’, got life as a professional wrestler off to a winner start as he teamed up with Seamus and Cesaro to beat the trio of Shining Stars and Bo Dallas in a six-man tag match.
Wiese, who was cheered on by the vociferous Munich crowd, hit a big running splash to secure the victory.
The ex-Kaiserslauten and Werder Bremen player, who had also won six full caps for Germany, was signed by the WWE in 2014.
He has since been training for the industry at their state-of-the-art Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida and has beefed up his physique by four and a half stone, from 14st 2lbs to a whopping 18st 12 lbs.
The 24-year-old has said before his bout: “This is Champions League. WWE is the biggest thing in wrestling, so I’m fully focused and blending out everything else around me.”
