Expect stronger Rangers next season —Madu

Chibuzor Madu has vowed that the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) defending champions will be much stronger in the next campaign.

The Flying Antelopes are currently in Benin City for their pre-season training programme.

Madu has promised that the team will be stronger in the new campaign.

“All the old players have resumed and the new ones are here also,” the former Enyimba FC defender told Goal.

“We are really working hard and getting ready for the big task ahead of us.”

“The atmosphere in camp has been  wonderful. Rangers is a club with ambition and the major step is to have a perfect pre-season and be ready for what the new campaign has in stock for us,” he continued.

Despite the huge expectation on the shoulder of Enugu Rangers, the experienced defender believes the team will deliver in all competitions.

“We know that every team will want to play with all that they have got when facing us. But it’s normal and I believe we will deliver because we have what it takes when it comes to quality players and coaches.”
