Lukasz Fabianski has confirmed ‘there is something’ in a move from Swansea to West Ham and he is ‘waiting patiently’ for it to happen.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper is being heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium in a double deal with his Swans’ central defensive team-mate Alfie Mawson.
Fees are still being negotiated between the clubs as we reported over the weekend, but it seems that an agreement is on the horizon.
Fabianski is valued at around £7million by the Swans, despite the fact he is out of contract in 12 months’ time, but he is hopeful of linking up with the Hammers at some point.
The former Arsenal man, who is currently at the World Cup in Russia with the Poland national team, told Polish media outlet Przeglad Sportowy: “Let’s wait for a while, but I will not lie, there is something in it. My club matters are working on things right now, but I do not know when everything will be clear. I am waiting patiently.”
