The management of FC IfeanyiUbah has postponed the Federation Cup victory and trophy tour which was earlier billed to hold today.
According to a statement from the management of the club, the postponement was as a result of the unavoidable absence of the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano .
The governor wishes to be part of the ceremony in support of the team but will not be disposed to participate in today’s ceremony due to some pressing engagements which will be taking him out of the state.
“In a bid to accommodate the plans of the State Government, for the ceremony, the Federation Cup victory and trophy tour will now hold on Wednesday, 23rd November, 2016,” said the statement adding that all other Anambra State football activities, particularly the Anambra State Football Association U-15 academy programme and the England-bound U-20 selection as published by Anambra State Football Association will continue as scheduled for the week.
