Fenerbahce player blasts Man United star: He’s an arrogant, chest-puffing player

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has been labelled an “arrogant, chest-puffing player” after his bust-up with Fenerbahce’s Simon Kjaer last night.

Ibrahimovic lost his temper with the Danish defender after he stopped him taking a quick throw in in United’s 2-1 defeat last night.

The Swede appeared to grab the centre-back by the throat on the touchline in front of manager Jose Mourinho and the fourth official.

The Manchester United striker escaped without a booking and brushed off the incident.

Ibrahimovic won’t face any retrospective action, but that’s not stopped Kjaer from laying into the striker.

“I actually didn’t hear what he said but I do know that he wasn’t happy,” Kjaer told Swedish TV statiomn Channel 9.

“But that’s the way I know him from the pitch. He is the kind of chest-puffing player, who is arrogant. That is his way of playing.

“My way of playing is to mark him as tightly as possible and to give him as little space as possible, because he is a good player.

“It is a part of football and I don’t take it too seriously. It is not the first time I play against him and I know how he reacts.

“It is not a problem. It is, like I said, a part of the game.”

Ibrahimovic is on a barren run of six games without scoring and will be out to put that right against Swansea on Sunday.
