Gary Neville set to join Dragon’s Den as guest star

In a major announcement, former Manchester United and England right-back, Gary Neville, is set to make a captivating appearance on the highly popular TV show Dragons’ Den as a guest Dragon for the upcoming 2024 series.

Neville, who is known for his illustrious football career, has also made a name for himself in the world of business. With a diverse business portfolio encompassing sectors such as property, hospitality, education, media, and sport, the 48-year-old football icon brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table.

Joining the regular panel of Dragons including Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, and Steven Bartlett, Neville’s involvement in the 21st series is sure to inject fresh energy and insights into the show.

“I am excited to join the Dragons, and to meet the entrepreneurs brave enough to face us in the Den,” said Neville.

“I hope my personal journey shows that you can take the experiences you’ve had in one part of your career and use them to do something entirely different and make it a success.

Renowned US-based fashion mogul Emma Grede will also join the Den as a guest judge alongside Gary Neville. With her expertise in the fashion industry, Grede is set to bring a fresh perspective and valuable insights to the show. The filming for the series is currently underway in Manchester, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and creativity.

In addition to his role as a football pundit and commentator, Gary Neville has made significant strides in the business world. He is a co-owner of Salford City Football Club, showcasing his dedication to the sport beyond his playing days. Neville’s business ventures extend to the hospitality industry, where he owns two hotels in Manchester. Moreover, he has established a production company, further diversifying his portfolio.

Notably, Neville, along with his fellow members from Manchester United’s iconic Class of ’92, played a key role in the foundation of University Academy 92 (UA92). This initiative aims to provide aspiring students with educational and professional opportunities, reflecting Neville’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of young talent.

Furthermore, Neville’s entrepreneurial journey includes an impressive tenure as a property developer, which began when he was just 21 years old. His latest noteworthy project is the ambitious £200m St Michael’s development in Manchester, showcasing his vision and ambition in the realm of real estate.
