Gateway Games 2024: Male, female final football matches to hold, Tuesday

The final football match for the male and female categories in the ongoing National Sports Festival holding in Ogun State will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, located in Abeokuta, the state capital.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor on Information and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, on Monday.

According to the statement, while that of the female category comes up by 4:00 PM, the male category will be played at exactly 6:00PM, as members of the public are invited to grace the occasion and watch quality game of interest.

The statement added that Governor Dapo Abiodun and his cabinet members are expected to be at the event, as well as friends of the government and many others.

“This is to inform the general public that the final match of the female and male categories will hold tomorrow, Tuesday, at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta.

“We, therefore, enjoin lovers of football in the state and beyond to come down and have a state of good football match, as dignataries are expected to grace the occasion, including the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and all his cabinet members “, the statement read.
