Ghana beat Nigeria to qualify for Qatar 2022

The Super Eagles of Nigeria flag will be missed after they failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup scheduled for Qatar later this year.

Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja after both sides played a goalless draw in the first leg.

Ghana qualified through a goal aggregate.

Thomas Partey put Ghana up in the 11th minute with a brilliant shot before Williams Troost-Ekong made it 1-1 through a spot kick in the 22nd minute at half time.

Both side could not find a net in the second half.
