Gomez, Nketiah, Joao Neves, other latest transfer stories

Joe Gomez is still open to leaving Liverpool, Marseille has a price they are willing to pay for Eddie Nketiah, PSG to seal Joao Neves deal.

Liverpool and England defender Joe Gomez, 27, remains open to leaving this summer after a move to Newcastle fell through last month. (Mail).

Leicester’s attempt to sign 24-year-old English winger Reiss Nelson from Arsenal is not currently progressing, with the player being out of the Foxes’ price bracket. (Leicester Mercury).

Paris St-Germain have agreed to sign Benfica’s Portugal midfielder Joao Neves, 19, for 60m euros (£50.56m), plus 10m euros (£8.42m) in add-ons, with Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches, 26, moving the other way on loan. (Fabrizio Romano).

Marseille would be willing to pay around £17m for Arsenal’s English striker Eddie Nketiah, 25, with talks expected to continue between the clubs over the coming days. (Telegraph, external).

Crystal Palace are open to letting 32-year-old forward Jordan Ayew leave at the right price this summer, with Leicester keen to sign the Ghana international. (Standard).

Everton are interested in Paraguay forward Ramon Sosa, 24, but face competition from Nottingham Forest in their bid to sign him from CA Talleres. (Teamtalk).

Nottingham Forest are set to sign 24-year-old Portuguese winger Jota Silva from Vitoria Guimaraes for 7m euros (£5.9m), in a deal which also includes up to 5m euros (£4.2m) in add-ons. (Sky Sports).

Wolves and Fulham have entered the race to sign 21-year-old French defender Isaak Toure from Lorient. (Football Insider).

Fulham have agreed a deal to sign 24-year-old Spanish centre-back Jorge Cuenca from Villarreal. (Fabrizio Romano).

Fulham haven’t ruled out sending English striker Jay Stansfield on loan again this season. The 21-year-old scored 13 goals on loan at Birmingham City last term. (Standard).

Coventry City have muscled in on Hull City’s £2.5m deal to sign Ghana forward Brandon Thomas-Asante, 25, from West Brom. (Telegraph).
