Grassroots players throughout Nigeria have been urged to maintain good conduct and ensure they behave appropriately as they pursue better opportunities.
This advice was given by Mr Wale Joseph, the Coordinator of the Jagaban Cup.
The administrator and journalist made these remarks following the successful conclusion of a scouting tournament on Sunday.
The tournament was organised by 36 Lion Investment, Diamond Sports Management, and the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA).
In his evaluation, Joseph, a former LSFA board member, stated that the scouting tournament was exceptional and ranks among the best in Nigeria. Commenting on the calibre of players who took part, he noted that many displayed the necessary attributes to succeed in football.

“Essentially, I assess their fighting spirit, character, speed, and techniques. The boys possess the fundamentals and mindset to thrive.
“In addition to these traits, attitude is crucial; one may be highly skilled and talented, but without the right attitude, establishing oneself as a footballer will be challenging,” emphasised the CEO of the Lagos State League.
In the meantime, Broad City narrowly defeated the unexpected contender Klassisch 1-0 to claim victory in the final.
