Greek offers for Bony

Wilfried Bony has reportedly been offered to AEK Athens and PAOK and the striker admits he doesn’t know if he will stay at Swansea.

Sports Time in Greece claim the 29-year-old Ivory Coast international was proposed to the two clubs and that the Bony does not want to stay with Swansea.

The striker is currently recovering from an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury that he picked up shortly after coming on as a substitute in Swansea’s 1-1 draw at Leicester City in February.

He was ruled out for the rest of the season but, despite still having four months of recovery time to go before he can play competitively again, he turned out in an exhibition match in Brno on Saturday.

“We had a bad season,” Bony admitted to Czech newspaper Denik.

“I do not know if I’m going to play Premier League or Championship. The most important thing for me is to cure my injuries and return to health. The treatment will take three or four months.”

Bony’s appearance at the exhibition match to mark Zbrojovka Brno’s 40-year anniversary of winning the Czech title as he lined up alongside former team-mates from his time at Sparta Prague.

He added: “I do not drink beer, but on Friday I ate a pork knee and pancakes, so I’m a little fat now. For four months I haven’t worn football boots.”
