Antoine Griezmann helped Atletico Madrid to a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund and then revealed he is fully committed to the club.
In the lead up to the Champions League clash, speculation over his future was again in the spotlight despite the fact he only penned a new deal in the summer, with some reports suggesting a move to Germany could happen in the future.
However following the win over Dortmund, in which he scored his 20th Champions League goal, the Frenchman confirmed his commitment to the Spanish side.
“It’s nights like these that I love and why I am so pleased to play at this club,’ Griezmann told UEFA.com. ‘We really wanted to give them a game after they hammered us in Germany. We learned from our errors and have given a much better image of ourselves.

“We had important players injured and the side has responded, as it always does. This is Atletico.”
Meanwhile, coach Diego Simeone was delighted with the Frenchman’s display, but was also quick to praise the rest of the team after they bounce back from the 4-0 defeat against BVB on matchday 3.
“He’s in brilliant form. He was amazing last season, too,” Simeone told a news conference. “He saw how to do them damage and did it well, but it’s not just him. The whole team were brilliant.”
