MANCHESTER CITY star Ilkay Gundogan is out for several months, according to Pep Guardiola.
The playmaker arrived from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
But he started the season crocked and it looks like he’s facing another long spell on the sidelines.
Pep Guardiola said: “I’m so sad for Ilkay Gundogan as it looks like we’ll be without him for a long time. I think several months.”
The German international had to be substituted as City cruised to a 2-0 victory over Watford at the Etihad tonight.
It’s thought the experienced star might have suffered knee ligament damage.
He will now miss Sunday’s clash with Arsenal – as well as a hefty chunk of the rest of the season.
