Harry Kane signs new six-year Tottenham contract

Harry Kane has signed a new six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

Talks between Tottenham and the England captain had progressed well following another excellent season, in which Kane scored 41 goals in all competitions for his club.

The news is a major boost to Spurs after manager Mauricio Pochettino agreed a new five-year deal at the end of last month and that is expected to be followed by several player contract announcements in the coming weeks as Spurs conduct talks.

Harry Winks and Davinson Sanchez have already agreed long-term deals this summer, while the club would like Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Heung-Min Son to do the same.
