Real Madrid have been tipped to raid Chelsea for Hazard in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo’s big-money move to Serie A giants Juventus.
The La Liga giants failed to make a bid for the Belgium international this summer, instead choosing to keep things low-key by bringing Mariano Diaz back from Lyon.
Real Madrid are, however, likely to make a big-money signing should they fail to win the Champions League or La Liga crown this season.
Hazard has never hid his admiration for the Bernabeu outfit and regularly flirted with a transfer over the summer.
The player’s contract expires in 2020.
And the Daily Mail say Chelsea need to finish in the top four to have any chance of retaining the 27-year-old’s signature.
Hazard is arguably their most vital player.
He signed from Lille in 2012, shortly after the Blues had beaten Bayern Munich to win the Champions League, and has been a big Stamford Bridge hit ever since.
The Daily Mail say that, should Chelsea face a second season in the Europa League, Hazard is likely to leave.

And if they cannot match his ambition, he is reportedly likely to push through a move.
Real may not, however, be his only suitors.
Manchester United have been sensationally linked in the past and Jose Mourinho is known to want another attacker on his team.
Barcelona could also make a move despite having a formidable attack already.
But whether Hazard stays at Chelsea for the long-term remains to be seen.
