Gonzalo Higuain
Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain admits he would love to play in the Premier League.
The Argentine striker, 30, has added to the speculation that he could swap Turin for Chelsea, with his declaration.
Higuain has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues looking to add to their attack this summer after Alvaro Morata largely flattered to deceive in his debut season, despite the Spaniard’s 15 goal return.
Morata is being linked with a return to the Bianconeri, while Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, himself looking for a new challenge, has also been linked with the Italian champions.
That would leave Higuain, signed from Napoli for £75million two years ago, down the pecking order despite a record of 55 goals in 105 games for Juve.
Now, ahead of the World Cup, Higuain has opened himself up to a potential move to England.
“I have a contract with Juventus and no one has communicated anything different,’ he told ESPN in Argentina.
