Super Eagles’ midfielder, Oghenekharo Etebo, has said that the current squad are well on course to do the nation proud and that the team will give it’s all when the World Cup kicks off in less than 50 days from now in Russia.
The on-loan Las Palmas of Spain midfielder, who spoke to AOIFootball.com exclusively from his base in Spain, said all the players know what is at stake and will give their all to ensure the country is well represented at the Mundial.
“I believe in the current set of players we have in the national team; we are united and always ready to deliver for the country.
“I know we have a very tough group because playing Argentina and Croatia won’t be an easy task. I have faced some of their players already in the La Liga and I know how they play, so I am sure with hard work and determination, we will do wonders at the World Cup,” Etebo said.
The 2016 Rio Olympic bronze medalist further promised Nigerians of a good outing in Russia compared to previous tournaments.
