‘I don’t care’, Gavi responds to Real Madrid’s acquisition of Jude Bellingham

Barcelona wonderkid Gavi has reacted to Jude Bellingham’s high-profile move to Real Madrid.

Both Gavi and Bellingham have earned reputations as two of the finest emerging midfield talents in the world of football.

Real Madrid recently secured the services of Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund for a staggering €103 million. The 19-year-old prodigy arrives with immense expectations, following his exceptional displays for Dortmund and the English national team.

Nevertheless, Gavi made it clear that he remains unfazed by Los Blancos’ acquisition of the young sensation and remains fully focused on challenging for silverware with the Blaugrana.

When questioned about Bellingham’s transfer, 18-year-old Gavi responded to SPORT, saying, “Madrid can sign whoever they want. I don’t care. We’ve got our own, and we’re going to go for it.”

As for Bellingham, who has represented England at the international level, he featured in 42 matches across various competitions for Dortmund last season, netting 14 goals and providing seven assists.

Meanwhile, Gavi showcased his prowess by contributing three goals and seven assists in 49 appearances across multiple tournaments for Barcelona.
