Neymar
Neymar has revealed he wants to play for Pep Guardiola.
The Paris Saint-Germain superstar only joined the French club from Barcelona in a world-record £200million deal last summer.
But he is already being linked with a move away from the club, and Manchester City would be one of the few teams that could afford him.
Now the 26-year-old has opened the door to a switch to the Premier League champions by declaring his ambition to work under their manager Guardiola.
Guardiola left his role as Barcelona boss in 2012, a year before Neymar moved to the Nou Camp, and was credited for transforming the Spanish side.
“I’ve always wanted to work with Guardiola,” Neymar told ESPN Brasil. “He’s different.
“I arrived in Barcelona a year after he left. I really want to work with him.”
Guardiola is eager to boost his front line this summer and would surely be interested in a player of Neymar’s stature.
Any deal for the Brazilian, however, would come at a huge cost, and PSG insist they have no desire to sell.
