Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi has ruled out a move to Italy to join Cristiano Ronaldo in Serie A while also believing Real Madrid are missing the Portuguese star.
Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer, bringing an end to a nine-year reign at Madrid which saw him score 450 goals in 438 games for the club.
This season, Los Blancos are loitering in the unfamiliar position of fourth place in the league having scored just 24 goals. In comparison, Barcelona have bagged 48.
When quizzed if he thought Madrid were missing Ronaldo, Messi said: ‘At the beginning of the season I said they are a great club, one of the best in the world and with a lot of great players, but anyone would miss Cristiano.
“He scores a lot of goals and gives you many other things so it doesn’t surprise me.”
