Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to Carrington to continue his recovery from injury.
Although United decided against renewing the player’s contract, they did offer the Swedish striker the use of their facilities as he continues to battle his way back from a serious knee injury sustained against Anderlecht in the Europa League in April.
He was spotted being driven away on Wednesday after another session of rehab, presumably pondering where his future lies.
The Swede has been linked with almost every team under the sun this summer, but despite interest form the MLS and China, the player is understood to be confident that he can still perform at the highest level in Europe.
Ibrahimovic is a popular figure with United fans after he scored 28 goals and provided 10 assists in 46 games in all competitions last season.
