Mauro Icardi has his sights set on a return to Italy once his loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain concludes this summer.
The Argentine striker was allowed to leave Inter Milan by Antonio Conte last summer and joined the French giants on a season-long loan.
He has impressed in Paris, scoring 20 goals in 31 appearances to help them into the Champions League quarter-finals and put them on the brink of another Ligue 1 title.
But Italian outlet calciomercato has claimed Icardi does not see his long-term future at Thomas Tuchel’s side and is desperate to return to Serie A in the summer.
His contract with Inter Milan expires in the summer of June 22 but Conte made it clear last summer that Icardi does not feature in his plans.

It is claimed that if the Nerazzurri cannot reach an agreement to sell Icardi to either Juventus or Napoli then Icardi would consider returning to Inter.
Last month it was also reported that Real Madrid are prepared to offer a player exchange plus cash deal for the forward.
But it is understood his wife and agent, Wanda Nara, is reluctant to sanction a move to the Bernabeu and would prefer he went to Juve.
However, she admitted that the choice is her husband’s.

She said: “If Mauro will never go to Juve? That I just do not know. I do not know if next year we will live in Milan or Paris, with football you never know. He will choose and we will follow.”
