The Nigerian duo both got on the score sheet to help their side to precious three points on the road in Sunday’s game
Sylvester Igboun and Kehinde Fatai scored for FK Ufa in their 2-0 away victory over Arsenal Tula in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.
Igboun opened scoring for the visitors in first half added on time as he rose high to connect with a corner kick from Ondrej Vaněk.
It was his second goal in the league this season and it comes after he scored in the midweek Russian Cup victory over Terek Grozny.
Fatai made sure the three points were well secured in the 80th minute despite the pouring rains when he turned inside the box to shoot past the goalkeeper.
Fatai has now scored four goals in the RPL this season as he continues to make the call for a look in from Nigeria selectors who ignored both strikers when they announced the squad that will face Algeria in next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was an unused substitute for Arsenal Tula in the game.
