The Super Eagles’ camp has begun to fill up ahead of Saturday’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying fixture against the Greens in Uyo
Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi are among the early arrivals as Nigeria’s camp bubbles to life ahead Saturday’s 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
A win for the Super Eagles against the north Africans will put them in firm control of Group B in the race for Russia 2018 ticket having secured a 2-1 win against Zambia in Ndola.
Iwobi was on parade for the Gunners as they were held to a 1-1 draw by cross-city rivals, Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium– though was replaced by Oliver Gioud in the 70th minute of the London derby.
For Iheanacho, he replaced Sergio Aguero in the 90th minute as Pep Guardiola’s men surrendered their lead against Middlesbrough.
Other in the Eagles’ Bolton White Hotels and Apartments camp are goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
Other players are expected at lunch time on Tuesday as training begins in the morning.
