Ilaji Sports Resort to host Ibadan Compounds Sports fiesta

ALL is now set for the maiden Ibadan Compounds Sports Fiesta. 

According to the Coordinator of the programme, Chief Nurudeen Akinade: “the competition is being put together as part of efforts to discover hidden sporting talents, reduce and eradicate gangsterism as well as various acts of incidences and above all insecurity among our youths.”

He further informed that the annual sports competition would be hosted on the well-equipped sports facilities of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Ibadan.

Akinade, noted that the event is enjoying the support of His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Oguguniso 1.

“We have invited all our highly distinguished High Chiefs, senior chiefs, other traditional and our Mogajis to a special meeting to also discuss modalities as regards the competition. The meeting has been scheduled to hold at Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Ibadan, on Saturday, May 29, 2021.”
