Nigeria and Yatai Changchun of China striker, Odion Ighalo says he is ready to start the 2018 Chinese Super League campaign.
The former Udinese forward said he cannot wait to get the ball rolling for the CSL giants as he will want to lift the title.
The former Watford of England striker said he is more than determined to improve in all aspects of his game to ensure he is in perfect shape for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
“Our pre-season went well and we played some quality games in Spain, so hopefully we should be ready to take to the pitch on Friday.
“For now, the aim is just to get started in a good way because it’s been a long break and hopefully we can do better than last season.
“These are defining moments for every player that wants to play at the biggest stage. Last season was good for me, but I believe I have what it takes to even do better. I just want to be in good shape before the World Cup,” Ighalo told AOIFootball.com from his base in China.
