Bayern Munich are set to ramp up their efforts to secure the signing of West Ham captain and midfielder Declan Rice with Arsenal also expressing interest in the England international.
Rice remains a top priority on Bayern’s shortlist as they are actively searching for a new No. 6 midfielder. Despite recent changes to their recruitment team, which now includes Uli Hoeness, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Jan-Christian Dreesen, Thomas Tuchel, CFO Dr. Michael Diederich, following the departures of Hasan Salihamidžić and Oliver Kahn, the pursuit of Rice continues.

According to Florian Plettenberg, there was a recent phone call between Tuchel and Rice, during which the player expressed openness to joining Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians who secured their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title over the weekend, are reportedly willing to pay nearly €100 million for Rice’s services. However, they face competition from Arsenal, who finished as runners-up to Manchester City and are said to be more advanced in their pursuit of the midfielder.
While Bayern considered other options in their search for a midfield partner for Joshua Kimmich, including Mateo Kovacic (Chelsea), Marco Verratti (PSG), and Adrien Rabiot (Juventus), it appears that no concrete moves were made for those players.
