The female national football team, the Flamingos, on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja secured the ticket to the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup in India later in the year after a scoreless draw with their Ethiopian counterparts.
The Coach Bankole Olowookere-led crew had defeated the Ethiopians in Adis Ababa by one goal to nil to put one leg in the world women’s football championship in India.
